Just as suddenly as the stricture and the nausea and vomitting came, they left. I feel really pretty good today. I talked to the nurse and she said it is very common to have swelling after surgery, as you heal, the stricture repairs itself. This means that I can advance my diet and start eating more normal foods. It also means that I will not have to have a second endoscopy to stretch out the opening by my new stomach. YAY. This is very happy news. I will try to post 3 and 4 week photos tomorrow.
